Description

Introduction:

This is the stand-alone version of lesson 6 out of 11 in the CrescentLink for ArcGIS Pro Learning Path.

Being able to identify cable attribute information and connectivity while looking at your network should be easy.  Utilizing CrescentLink's cable count functionality will make your map more user-friendly, readable, and informative.  This course illustrates how you can enter cable counts into your network, and how you can leverage ArcGIS Pro's labeling functionality to display this information on your cable feature labels for quick visual reference to your network's connectivity.

The training resources used in this course can be downloaded <HERE>.

Topics Covered:

  • Network Manager and the Cable Count Editor

  • The Fiber Count Assignment tool for count push automation
  • Esri feature labeling functionality

Fairly easy to follow overall. I wish all the functionality listed in the overview was gone over in following sections, but the material that was covered was done so in a straightforward manner.
