Description
Introduction:
This is the stand-alone version of lesson 4 out of 11 in the CrescentLink for ArcGIS Pro Learning Path.
Fiber optic cables alone do not provide a comprehensive view of your network. Splice points within CrescentLink enable the creation of connections between cables and equipment, allowing for detailed tracing and reporting of every circuit within the network. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date data is essential for network design, performance optimization, cost analysis, and maintenance planning. To address these needs, CrescentLink is designed to model the equipment and fiber requirements of an evolving cable network through its splice point capabilities.
This course utilizes the CrescentLink for ArcGIS Pro Training Resources dataset, which can be downloaded from the GEOGRAPH Academy Resources page. If you do not already have this dataset, please download it and use the project within that resource file throughout this course.
