Description
Introduction:
This is the stand-alone version of lesson 3 out of 11 in the CrescentLink for ArcGIS Pro Learning Path.
Because the basis of all network connectivity is derived from the correct attribution and collection of cables, placing cable is a fundamental building block of CrescentLink Network Manager.
This lesson reviews how to use Esri's native drawing tools to create and edit features based on fiber cable templates that are loaded in by default in the CrescentLink training data. It will also show you how to attribute the data associated with each feature so you can begin keeping track of all the vital pieces of information in your networks.
Finally, this lesson will show you how to create your own feature templates, to reduce the amount of time spent duplicating work.
This course utilizes the CrescentLink for ArcGIS Pro Training Resources dataset, which can be downloaded from the GEOGRAPH Academy Resources page. If you do not already have this dataset, please download it and use the project within that resource file throughout this course.
